What’s on

Tue 3 Mar: What really matters

This is the second in a series of talks for Lent held in St Mary's parish church on Tuesdays at 7.30pm. The theme of the series is 'moved by love'.

The speaker on 3 March is Anne Miller, well known locally for her important  role in advising and supporting the various nature recovery activities in and around Charlbury.

Anne Miller has had a lifelong passion for the natural world and has been fortunate to spend most of her working life pursuing that passion. In this talk she will reflect on what commitment has meant to her and how it has led to both expected and unexpected development and outcomes.

Anne is a Quaker and has lived in Charlbury for almost 30 years, retiring from academic and industrial work in 2024 to spend her time now putting theory into practice locally.

Doors open at 7pm. Admission free. Donations towards expenses and for Christian Aid. Everyone is welcome.

Talks arranged by Churches Together in Charlbury.
