Sun 11 Jan: 1500 hrs: SCHUMANN AND SHOSTAKOVICH; Refugee-benefit Concert
Two totally singular musicians will be giving the next in the current series of CRAG recitals in the Memorial Hall on January 11th at 1500 hrs. KATIE WILKINSON, a former member of both the Balanescu and Brindisi String Quartets is a fabulous Viola player and a really wonderful performer. She will be accompanied on the piano by MARIOS ARGIROS, himself an accomplished musician on several instruments, as well as being a world-renowned senior intermediate level 3 IYENGAR yoga teacher! They will play a fascinating hour-long programme of sonatas by Robert Schumann and Dmitri Shostakovich. CRAG’s ubiquitous complimentary homemade cake and tea will be served after the concert. All proceeds to refugee relief.
