The Oxfordshire Lieutenancy with Marjorie Glasgow, Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire

As His Majesty The King's representative in Oxfordshire, Marjorie Glasgow leads a team of 40 Deputy Lieutenants to connect across the county and support HM The King’s primary interests of Community, Climate, Culture, and the Commonwealth. Joining Marjorie for this informative talk on the varied ways they work to broaden community connections across Oxfordshire will be two Deputy Lieutenants, Mr Julian Sayers MBE DL and Mr Philip Sharman DL.

Julian holds the Lieutenancy's Agricultural Brief for the County. He will discuss the challenges facing the farming industry here in Oxfordshire and some of the ways the Lieutenancy is able to support and champion this important aspect of the county.

Philip holds the Lieutenancy's Energy and Sustainability Brief for the County and will be discussing the ways the Lieutenancy supports the county-wide network which is working across key areas such as clean energy, nature recovery and climate adaptation.

This talk will be in the Memorial Hall. Refreshments from 7.15pm, talk at 7.30. Free for members, £3 for guests.
