1962 Gretsch Corvette £1100
Vintage Gretsch Corvette from 1962 or possibly 1963. Single pickup model that would originally have had the Burns Vibrato. Great sounding with the original HiLo’Tron pickup and plays beautifully after being professionally fixed up recently.
This has had a lot of work done in the early 1970s. There’s a stable headstock repair, full refinish, filled hole where the vibrato was, Van Ghent Tuners and the original bridge changed.
It’s recently had a full re-wire with CTS pots and the original tone cap has been used, tuners cleaned and restored, 1970s Leo Quan Badass bridge installed, Tone Pros locking studs, new bone nut, new (aged) knobs and strap locks, full fret level, crown and polish, setup with gauge 11 Daddario strings.
Hilotron pickup, scratchplate, tone capacitor and jack cup are original parts.
