CHARLBURY EXHIBITION FOUNDATION: TRUSTEE WANTED
The Charlbury Exhibition Foundation is a local charity with a proud tradition stretching back more than 350 years of supporting the education of young people in our community (see: https://www.charlbury.info/community/90).
Our charitable purpose is to promote the education of young people under the age of 25 who live in the parish of Charlbury and are in financial need.
We fund the support from our income which is earned from our historic assets, the Old Grammar School in Park Street, currently leased to the Pre-School, and a small grazing field.
We have a vacancy for a trustee to join our present team of six local residents.
Ideally we would like a trustee with some knowledge of educational issues or expertise with the management of historic buildings, but we would welcome expressions of interest from anyone with the interest, energy and the time to support our work.
