A real oddity. Appears to be a Vox Clubman body with a Vox Ace neck. Possibly assembled from parts after Jennings sold loads of stuff off in the late 60s as there are no serial numbers. I’ve replaced the wiring with top quality parts and it has Plato pickups in the neck position and an old upgraded 60s/70s Japanese pickup in bridge position. Totally unique sounding guitar. It has an almost metallic twang even when unplugged and this bright sound comes through when plugged in. See this YouTube demo for full length demo:

The bridge has been replaced with a modern roller and a Teisco style vibrato tailpiece. Holds tune well. Looks like it’s had a couple of different bridges, tailpieces and sets of tuners over the years. It’s just had a pro fret level, crown and polish and even though the neck has no truss rod, it’s straight and true. New bone nut, fully set up with gauge 10 Daddario strings.
Condition is rough and ready. It’s clearly had a lot of use and mods. The red paint job is wearing away in the usual places. The body has a small repaired crack by one neck bolt but it’s stable and everything works as it should.
If you’re bored of the usual and want something totally off the wall and unique but useable, this is for you. I strongly recommend trying it before committing to buy as it’s really weird.
