1970s Made in Japan.
Solid mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fretboard. The neck is fairly fat but not huge. These Avon Rose Morris guitars always have great necks. Scratchplate and control plate are not original. Wiring and pickups are brand new. Medium output Vanson (I think) pickups, Alpha pots, sprague orange drop caps and a ‘Duncan’ style treble bleed circuit. Has just had a total refret with jumbo Stewmac frets and a stainless steel Jescar zero fret. All work professionally done.
Very good vintage Japanese guitar that plays beautifully and sounds great with no issues.
As you can see in the pictures, it’s well road worn with lots of chips and scratches but it’s gig ready, fully set up with a low action and gauge 11 Daddario strings.
