Thomas the Tank Engine needs a run

Hello. No I’m not going potty! I have a 00 “Thomas the Tank Engine” that needs testing on a track following repair. It’s for my Grandson who lives in Montreal and I want to make sure it works before I send it to him. I have a model railway (you can come and see it if you like) but it’s not compatible with Thomas.
