Pre-School Assistant at Charlbury Pre-School

Charlbury Pre-School is looking for a dedicated and inspirational person to join our small, friendly team delivering high quality care and education to children aged 2 to 5. We hope to recruit someone with energy, enthusiasm and a love of outdoor learning.

We are a highly regarded Pre-School which has been at the heart of our local community for many years. We aim to provide a safe, happy, caring environment where children feel valued as individuals and are enthused and encouraged to explore, learn and develop at their own pace.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant Early Years qualification at level 3 with leadership and SENCO experience, but would consider level 2. A current paediatric first aid certificate would be desirable.

The post is for three mornings a week, term time only - Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 8.45 – 2.00, but flexibility to cover other sessions, sometimes up to 4.30 would be helpful. Session leader on Fridays for the right candidate.

We put children's welfare and safeguarding at the heart of our provision, so an enhanced DBS check will be required.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required before employment commences.

If you would like an application form, please email admin@charlburypreschool.org.uk For more information or if you would like to visit us, please telephone Chris on 01608 811200. Please note we will be closed from Monday 28th October to Friday 1st November, but emails will be picked up during this time.

Interviews will take place from Tuesday 5th November onwards.
