Tea Tent at Cornbury Music Festival

A plea on behalf of the Charlbury School Association (CSA), the parent lead fund-raising body for Charlbury Primary School.
Once again this year, our biggest fund-raiser will be the Tea Tent at the Cornbury Music Festival thanks to the generosity of festival organisers Sound Advice. Last year we sold over 3000 portions of cake, thousands of mugs of tea and home-made soup, raising over £7,300.
This money, and the money we raise at the 2009 festival this summer, will be used to construct an Adventure Trail in the school playground, a much needed new development.
As we make our final plans for Cornbury 2009, we'd like to ask you to be a part of making this dream a reality. Over 15,000 are expected to attend the festival and, if last year is any indicator, we can hope to see almost all of them through our tent at some point over the weekend.

So, we hope you will sponsor some of the equipment we need to hire for the event. Or just be 'Our Sponsor'.
We will of course display your promotional material on our Sponsor's Table and your logo on our 'Sponsor's Banner' which will hang behind the cake tables.
To date we have raised £600 but recently we have heard that we may be liable for a £500 electricty bill!

Therefore we are making one final appeal to any local businesses or groups to come forward and sponsor us.
We hope you will consider our appeal and respond favourably to our request. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.

And of course do drop in and enjoy a nice cuppa and a slice of delicious home-made cake!

See you there.
