Shortage of bluebells causes cancellation of walk!

The late arrival of Spring and consequent shortage of bluebells has caused cancellation of the Charlbury Society's 'Bluebell Walk'which has been a regular Mayday Bank Holiday feature of recent years.
The decision was made after consultation with Mr John Payne, owner of Singe Wood where the walk ususally takes place. 'The bluebells are only just beginning to show their leaves' he said 'you would be disappointed if you came as soon as Monday'.
