Christmas Trees at St Mary's

Christmas tree winners

The Christmas Tree competition at St Mary’s has been kindly and thoughtfully judged, and we are delighted to announce that the results are as follows:

Adult trees

1st Bookclubs of Charlbury

2nd Cornwell Family

3rd Charlbury Community Centre

Children’s trees

1st Charlbury Primary School

2nd Little Monkeys

Congratulations to the winners as well as huge congratulations and thanks to everyone who took part and was so patient with the constantly changing situation. We are very appreciative that so many of you were prepared to be involved, despite all the difficulties and restrictions we have had to deal with. The whole town has enjoyed the spectacle that we have produced together.

We are aiming to keep the trees up till Christmas, even if they only have their lights on. If you feel that your decorations are looking a little bedraggled, please could you take them off your tree, to save us doing so in a few weeks time.

If you are leaving them, and want them back please can you come and take them as soon as possible after Christmas. If you can also take your tree away and dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way, that would be very helpful. Please let us know if you are doing this.

Please leave the lights for us in the box in the church porch. Thank you!

Any questions please email Hilli on hilli.waller@gmail.com

Thank you again for being involved, for supporting and for being part of this lovely gift to Charlbury
