Christmas Opening and Activities
Between Christmas and New Year the Community Centre will be open from 10am-4pm on Wednesday 27th-Sunday 31st December inclusive. A large variety of sports and games will be offered for people of all ages and in the afternoons we will make sure there are family oriented and group activities for everyone to join. Children must be accompanied. There will be something for everyone from babies and toddlers to great-grandparents. Refreshments will be available in the café, so if you just want to sit and read, do a puzzle, a quiz or play scrabble, that's fine too. In the mornings the sports hall will be available for hire as usual.
On December 21st and 22nd we will be offering multi-activity sessions for children aged 5-11 in the mornings. On these two dates, you can leave your children with us and they will be offered various sports as well as festive games and craft activities. In the afternoons there will be multi-sport sessions for young people of secondary school age (11-16). The cost is £5 per child/young person for 2.5 hours of fun.
