Little Wild Things – connecting children with the natural world

Thanks to everyone that responded to our recent post about bringing Nature Tots to Charlbury. We've had overwhelmingly positive feedback about the idea and are now forging ahead! We will be running under the new name of 'Little Wild Things' and have set ourselves up as a community interest company. We will run exciting hands on sessions in a local woodland and hope to inspire the children of Charlbury to love nature by giving them positive outdoor experiences.

'Little Wild Things' will be launching in June and we are incredibly excited about what we hope will be an on-going and growing community business in our vibrant town. However, before we can start running sessions, we need some help. We are trying to raise £6,500 to buy a secondhand minibus to transport the children to and from the woodland site.

We are fundraising through the website Crowdfunder, which will allow people all over the world to read about what we're doing and make donations if they like the idea. This week has seen the launch of our project page, and in two days people have already pledged over £1800! If you would like to help us achieve our vision of connecting children with nature, please visit www.crowdfunder.co.uk/littlewildthings/ and pledge whatever you can.

Thank you so much and see you in the woods!
