Mon 6 Jun 2022, 11:11 I was somewhat saddened to hear a Charlbury resident moaning on Saturday morning about the presence of bikes parked outside the Corner House, as a group of visiting cyclists were enjoying refreshments at the Deli. As I was parking my bike next to theirs, one of the riders crossed the road and said "Mustn't upset the locals", to which I responded "You're not upsetting me, and I'm a local" at which point he smiled and returned to his hard-earned cuppa. Come on Charlbury, let's be serious about making cyclists and walkers welcome in our town. |
