The Summer Show is open in the Memorial Hall from 2pm to 4.30pm, this is a wonderful display of roses, sweet peas, other flowers, and early vegetables. Everyone is welcome to bring something to the show, the schedule of classes and entry form are available on the website, also the Station, Pharmacy, Library and Post Office - you don't have to be a member to exhibit.
The history of the Cups awarded at the Shows makes interesting reading.
The Society has a new project this year for children, Groovy Growing, which focuses on growing plants to help the preservation of bees and other insects. The project is being run in conjunction with Hilltop Garden Centre and children can exhibit their entries at all 3 shows.
