Muriel Pilkington is our guest speaker for November, giving a talk on the Lost villages of Oxfordshire - A hundred villages in Oxfordshire that were listed in the Domesday Book are no longer in existence. Muriel will explain why villages such as Widford near Swinbrook have disappeared from maps.
Charlbury WI is a flourishing group with over 40 members. We welcome visitors to our meetings, come along, chat to members, hear the talk and afterwards enjoy a slice of homemade cake and tea or coffee.
