Thu 8 Feb 2018: “Ask the GWR” Thursday, 8th February - Robert Courts MP and Great Western Railway

This event is in the past.

I am writing to draw your attention to an event that I will be hosting in partnership with Great Western Railway (GWR) on Thursday, 8th February at the Memorial Hall in Charlbury from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

In light of the Government's recent decision to extend the GWR franchise and the resulting consultation that is currently underway, I think it is more important than ever that residents have a say on what they want to see from GWR going forward.

The event will be called "Ask the GWR" and it will comprise a free and constructive discussion between local residents and representatives from GWR in the form of a public meeting. This event will provide an excellent opportunity for local residents to hear more about GWR's plans for the coming years, to give their comments in response to the ongoing consultation, and to ask representatives from GWR about any concerns they may have, or indeed to suggest ideas.

My ultimate aim is to facilitate an open and relaxed conversation between local residents and the people who provide our vital rail services.

If you would like to attend this event, please email Annabel Pickup at annabel.pickup@parliament.uk to register your interest. Please include your full constituency address in your RSVP as we will need this to ensure you are eligible to attend.

I hope to see you at this important meeting.

Yours sincerely,

Robert Courts MP
