Sun 3 Dec 2017: Tea Concert: Recital by Alastair and Gill Ross

In Charlbury Memorial Hall at 3pm, doors open at 2.30

Alastair Ross (harpsichord) and Gill Ross (soprano) will perform a programme which will include:

Chaconne in G major - Handel
Sonata in D major, 1st movement - Haydn
Bach's arrangement of Alessandro Marcello's Oboe Concerto in D minor
Songs by Bach and Purcell
Italian Concerto - Bach
Pieces by François Couperin
Fandango - Soler
Bach Goes to Town - Alec Templeton

Gillian Ross works with major Baroque groups in London with whom she has appeared as a soloist on a number of recordings.

Alastair Ross is principal keyboard player for the Academy of Ancient Music and The Sixteen.

Tickets £10 include FREE tea and cake. Under 15s £5. To book tickets in advance, email charlburyrefugee@gmail.com now and pay on the door. Reserved tickets will not be kept after 2.45 on the day. In Charlbury tickets can also be purchased at the Post Office and at Cotswold Frames. Seating is unreserved.

The concert will last approximately an hour.
