Charlbury Museum opens on April 1 with a new exhibition on Henry Allen, Charlbury Draper, Tailor and Funeral Director. Explore the contents of the tin trunk which was discovered in the attic of his former shop in Church Street. Find out what was for sale in his Drapery and see a wide range of Victorian clothing, accessories and sewing materials. Imagine what it was like to wear a dress with a 19 inch waist or a shirt with a stiff, detachable collar! We will be open every Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon until 1 October - times on the poster and our noticeboard.
