The generous Charlbury folk who welcome visitors to Charlbury Museum between April and September each year are invited to their annual Stewards' Evening on Friday 24th March, from 6.30 pm in the Museum, for a preview of the new Exhibition and a celebratory glass of wine. Learn about William and Henry and Annie Allen who ran their department store from the late 1790s until the early 1910s,selling everything from A to Z, and dressing the whole town from the cradle to the grave, for work and play.
