Our July speaker is Cotswold potter, Neil Alcock. Having spent years learning and working at potteries in the UK, France and Belgium, he set up his own business (Vineyard Pottery, near Winchcombe) in 1998. He now produces hand crafted domestic stoneware, with English and Japanese potters, shapes and glazes being the major influences on his work. Neil will accompany his talk with a pottery demonstration.
Charlbury WI meet on the third Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall. Visitors are very welcome to come along to meetings to try us out without any pressure to join.
