Wed 17 May 2017: Charlbury WI - Charlbury Museum's Summer Exhibition, Resolutions Debate & Pudding Tasting

This event is in the past.

Charlbury Museum curator, Celia Faulkner, will be giving us a short introductory talk on the museum's 2017 summer exhibition about Allen's Drapery, formerly in Church Street, Charlbury. The drapery lasted for about 100 years through generations of the Allen family selling a wide range of textiles, wools, carpets, furniture, hats and clothing to local people. The talk will be followed by a lively discussion of the 2017 Women's Institute's shortlisted campaign resolutions accompanied by some serious pudding tasting!

Charlbury WI meet on the third Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall. Visitors are very welcome to come along to meetings to try us out without any pressure to join.
