Sat 13 Sep 2014: The Finstock Ale - beer festival

This event is in the past.

The Finstock Ale beer and folk returns in 2014 even bigger and better! 12.00 noon to 11.30pm. It has been moved to the Playing Field in Finstock to give greater room for the expanded event and increased numbers we expect, together with ample parking.
The Beer Festival is to be held from midday on Saturday 13 September with a large marquee village. The beer tent will of course be the focus with 22 beers and four ciders, but this year there is much more. We retain a variety of great music acts from 1.00pm to close at 11.30pm, finished with two outstanding bands - Roughcut Ruby and 1,000 Mile Highway. There are various food outlets with Finstock's own Paelleria returning again with Ellie and Giles, whilst Tim Gunn will have a special Lamb Roast! A champagne bar will make its first appearance at Finstock, and the pay-bar will sell lagers, wine, and soft drinks, etc.
There are also more attractions with a large bouncy castle as we seek to welcome more families, the Finstock Ale Aunt Sally competition, and much more.
And that is not all. This year we can accommodate overnight camping on the playing field for attendees at the Finstock Ale on Friday and Saturday nights, with a cooked breakfast and shower in the sport pavilion.
All proceeds go to the Village Hall regeneration.
