What Will You Do for Dementia Action Week ?

You can choose a small action that will make a big difference to someone who is living with dementia.

I WILL MAKE TIME TO LISTEN

'If more people took time to listen it'd make a difference'
'When people take the time to listen to me and give me a chance to talk, this really helps me feel involved. I've lost count of the number of times I've been ignored in conversations or people have turned to my wife Tracey for the answer. I know it's because people don't understand dementia but it doesn't make it easier and I do get sad about it. If more people took the time to properly listen they would realise I can still teach them a thing or two.' - Paul, who is living with dementia.
