Wed 1 Nov: Special Effects Presentation at Probus
Dr Mick Donegan, MBE, is the Founder and CEO of Special Effect. Based in Cornbury it is a charity dedicated to providing enhanced opportunities for people with severe physical disabilities to access technology for leisure, creativity and communication. He is also Adjunct Professor of Assistive Design at OCAD University, Toronto. During his talk, he will give examples of how his charity is using special assistive technology to enhance the lives of people with even the most severe physical challenges, including strokes, Motor Neurone Disease and conditions resulting in locked-in-syndrome.
