Helena Cullen and Molly Brech have worked with asylum seekers and refugees for many years. They will outline some common experiences and offer you the chance to ask questions about hosting an asylum seeker in your home - from Ukraine or another country - feel free to come along for an open discussion based on Molly and Helena’s experiences working with both hosts and people who have been hosted.
Helena works at Safe Passage, helping reunite families across borders, and previously worked at Asylum Welcome in Oxford where she worked closely with hosting organisations to house young people. Molly works at Young Roots supporting young people through the asylum system and previously at a law firm on cases involving asylum seeking children. Molly and her family have fostered a young person seeking asylum in the UK.
