Churches Together in Charlbury is holding a collection for Christian Aid. The last year has been hard for everyone, but far more so for people in places where they were already struggling with shortages of food and water, poor sanitation and inadequate health services.
For some people there are signs of hope, when communities work together to protect the environment, adapt their farming practices and share resources. Christian Aid is one of the organisations supporting people who are trying to adapt to a changing world.
Christian Aid envelopes are being delivered to houses in Charlbury with an invitation to bring donations to Cornerstone in the Corner House, Market Street. Cornerstone is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 1pm. Donations can be brought to Cornerstone during Christian Aid week and the following week.
