Wed 22 Jan: Climate emergency - what's next for Charlbury? 8pm Memorial Hall

This event is in the past.

Charlbury Town Council has declared a climate emergency.  So what needs to happen now?

The Town Council is holding an initial meeting to explain what ‘Climate Emergency’ means, to give an overview of the key sectors in which we need to cut our emissions nationally – and explore how this could work out locally. Speakers include Mike Thompson, Charlbury resident and Chief Economist for the Committee on Climate Change. Other residents will talk about actions we could take in the immediate and medium-term to make a real difference to Charlbury's climate emissions.
