Thu 24 Oct 2019: Highly Sensitive Children discussion

This event is in the past.

8pm in the back room of the Rose and Crown Pub

Running time: 2 hours

Highly Sensitive Children are often misdiagnosed or misunderstood. Their sensitivities don't necessarily 'fit inside a box' which can result in a lot of frustration for all involved and often leads to behavioural issues.

If you have a child in mind that:

*Struggles with last minute changes

*Is a perfectionist

*Complains if they are wet or 'clothing is scratchy'

*Learns better from gentle correction rather than strong punishment

*Asks a lot of questions

*Is hard to get to sleep after an exciting day

*Feels things deeply

*Has a strong sense of justice and 'right and wrong'

Join me in the back room of the Rose and Crown Pub where we will discuss all aspects of Highly Sensitive Children as well as the most effective ways of managing emotional meltdowns.

When we know better, we can enable them to cope/do better.

£15pp payable at the door or by following link below:
