Mon 14 Jan 2019: Trees of Remembrance Planting

This event is in the past.

Along with many other places in Oxfordshire we were given two trees of remembrance by the County Council and the Woodland Trust to mark the Centenary of the ending of the First World War
We have a Sessile Oak and a Silver Birch which will be planted in the grounds of the cemetery.
These will be close to the WW1 graves there
There is also a small plaque to mark the event
There will be a short planting ceremony at which representatives of the Town Council County Council and the Royal British Legion will be present
We also invite anyone else who would like to come along at 10.00 am
