ALL WELCOME.
There is a volunteer work party at Blenheim Farm our local BBOWT nature reserve doing various cutting back jobs. We'll be there from 10am until 12.30pm but please come for as long as you want - even 30 mins would be fine. We will be scything Blenheim Farm our local BBOWT nature reserve on both 31 August and 7 September and will need help raking up the vegetation. We'll be there from 10am until 3.30pm but please come for as long as you want - even 30 mins would be fine. If you have some experience with scything or would like to learn then please contact Christine (811057).At the same time volunteers will be pulling up the Marestail which is spreading all over the pond - the water level is so low that wearing wellingtons will be enough to stay dry. We have already made a start but there is plenty more to pull up.
ALL WELCOME. Please wear strong footwear and gardening gloves.
Blenheim Farm Nature Reserve is accessed either by the footpath heading east from the dip at the bottom of the Slade, or from Centenary Woodland.
