District Council elections
The candidates have been announced for the election to the Charlbury & Finstock ward of West Oxfordshire District Council, to be held together with the Alternative Vote referendum on 5th May.
The candidates are:
- Lesley Algar (The Green, Charlbury) - Labour Party
- Hywel Davies (School Road, Finstock) - Conservative Party
- Celia Kerslake (Nine Acres Lane, Charlbury) - Green Party
- Liz Leffman (Park Street, Charlbury) - Liberal Democrats
The ward returns two councillors. Mike Breakell (Liberal Democrat) is stepping down this year. The second seat, currently held by Glena Chadwick (Liberal Democrat), will be up for election in 2012.
