Co-op wants bigger, brighter signs on its store

The Co-op has applied for planning permission for large, bright green signs to replace the existing and relatively subtle signage on its store. The application can be seen here. For photographs of the effect, click on 'Documents', then on 'Image/Photograph'.

There would be two 'externally illuminated fascia signs' on either side of the main entrance, and an internally illuminated projecting sign hanging off the Browns Lane wall towards the end of the building.

The wall signs would be 1200mm (4 feet) square and the hanging sign would be 600mm square.

The application number is 09/0471/P/AC and the planning officer at the District Council is Ms Carla Miskin (01993 861697 carla.miskin@westoxon.gov.uk), to whom comments should be sent. Copy the Town Council (charlburytc@btinternet.com) in on your email.
