Thanks to the Charlbury Litter Pickers!
Many thanks to the small but noble band of volunteers who turned up on Saturday last to give the town a much-needed spring clean: Brigid Avison, David Cannell, Grahame Ockleston, Nicolette Lethbridge, Joan Belshaw, Brigid Allen, Helen and Trevor Jones, Frances Short, Valou and Neil Pakenham-Walsh, Lynette and Brian Murphy and John Moore. Over twenty sacks of litter were collected. It was very rewarding, but of course it would have been much better if it hadn't been dropped in the first place! Please note especially the Rochester Place passage, the station area and the lay-by on the Burford Road.
Do please take your litter home or use the bins provided, and encourage your kids to do the same. Thank you.
