Callow Farm Shop to close

The popular farm shop at Callow Farm, Stonesfield, just off the Charlbury-Woodstock road, is to close at the end of the month. The owner Dave Holloway writes:

"It is with great regret that I have to inform you that the shop at Callow Farm will be permanently closing from April 30th 2015.

"This decision has been reached for a number of reasons but mostly due to financial pressures, it will also allow me time to develop other aspects of my business and enjoy my ever growing family.

"I apologise that this may come as a shock and at quite short notice but I would sincerely like to thank you for your support. I know my staff are extremely saddened by the news, they have been fantastic and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them publicly for all their hard work, loyalty and dedication.

"On a more positive note one aspect of the business that is successful is our turkeys, so I can confirm that Callow Farm will continue to produce and sell Free Range Bronze Christmas Turkeys as a "farmgate" product.

"Onto the practicalities - as the shop is closing everything that can not be returned to our suppliers must go! (This includes fittings and fixtures) So please call in over the next couple of weeks to get a discount, these will increase as we move towards the 30th.

"I currently have no plans for the premises however I am open to any suggestions, so if you know anyone who may be interested please send them my way."
