Fri 15 Jun 2018: CHARLBURY SPEAKEASY

This event is in the past.

Music from Glymjack, the exciting new folk-rock band led by Greg McDonald. Although Glymjack have their spiritual home in contemporary folk music, their energetic, close-harmony sound isn't easy to pigeonhole and we think you'll love it. (Speakeasy regulars who remember the wonderful Victrolas will recognise Dickon Collinson, singing and playing bass alongside band leader McDonald and violinist Gemma Gayner.)

Speakeasy tradition dictates that where there's music, there are spoken words. This time we're welcoming back performance poet Tina Sederholm. (If you were there, you'll certainly remember her from last year's poetry slam.)

Doors open at 8pm. It's £7.50 to get in (no advance sales) and you can bring your own poison.

And it's the last one of the season so make it a good one!
