• Join Southill Community Energy for a walk to the Southill Solar site
• Meet for a10.00am departure Sunday21st Mayat the Cornbury Bridgeover the Evenload on the main entrance into Cornbury.

Southill Community Energy directors Tim Crisp, Als Parker and Chris Barras are delighted to invite you to join them and other Southill members on the section of the Parish Boundary Walk to the Southill Solar site. This will be an exciting opportunity to visit the solar farm and learn more about recent developments and the workings of the solar site:
• Hear about the thebiodiversityand landscape management plans for the site and see the young apple orchard trees recently planted.
• View theUK's first Thermosolarhive, helping eradicate the Varroa mite, currently being installed!
• Learn about theperformanceof the solar panel arrays so far and see how renewable energy generation works in action...
• You are welcome to bring apicnicand stay on site until2.00pm. The site is being established as aconservationarea for ground nesting birds such as skylarks so we will need to take care not to disturb habitats.

We look forward to welcoming you on the walk and then on site...

p.s. the Parish Boundary Walk is not an established footpath and unfortunately not suitable for buggies. The walk from Cornbury Bridge to the site takes approximately an hour, please wear sturdy footwear!
