Thu 27 Apr-Sun 30 Apr 2017: Chipping Norton Literary Festival

This event is in the past.

Chipping Norton's Literary Festival is on the horizon for April (27-30). Near the top of this year's bill are Joanna Trollope and chicklit writer Jenny Colgan. Lovers of crime fiction will be thrilled to see Ian Rankin in the Theatre, as well as the Festival's founder, Clare Mackintosh.
You can also see TV's Nadiya Hussain and Tony Robinson, and radio broadcasters Rev Richard Coles and Jenni Murray, as well as screenwriter Sarah Phelps. A lively children's programme stars Children's Laureate Chris Riddell and there will be many stories involving superheros, dinosaurs, animals and even Star Wars at the Crown & Cushion on the Saturday and Sunday.
There's also an ongoing programme of workshops for aspiring writers.
See the full programme and buy tickets at www.chiplitfest.com, or at Chipping Norton Theatre: 01608 642350.
