Tuesday 7 March at 8 pm in St Mary's Parish Church. 'Connecting environment, science and Christianity' The first in the series of talks for Lent linking environment and faith will be given by the Rev Dr John Weaver from the John Ray Initiative,an educational charity which brings together scientific and Christian understanding of the environment. Dr Weaver will outline the present environmental situation, examine Biblical teaching about caring for the natural world, explore Christian responsibility and suggest practical action for us all.
