A very welcome return to the Speakeasy by THE KNIGHTS OF MENTIS.
If you didn't catch them last year, you missed a rare experience: nine musicians packed onto the stage of the Shed, filling the room with their gutsy, bluesy, rootsy music which swells and retreats like a slow sea or the contented breathing of a tipsy giant... It was wonderful and you'd be mad to miss it.
Joining them, Madeleine Wheare will be reading a fine selection of verse and prose.
It's at the Shed, Nine Acres, Charlbury. Entry is £7.50 on the door and you can bring your own drinks. Doors open at 8pm.
