NEW SEASON STARTS FRIDAY 16TH OCTOBER
We have a great programme lined up for the second season of the Speakeasy. You can expect the same blend of high quality music and spoken word performances in the laid back surroundings of The Shed.
For the opening session we're really excited to be able to welcome Peter Howarth. Probably best known as the lead singer of The Hollies, Peter also records and tours the world with Cliff Richard as Sir Cliff's backing singer and fans of West End musicals may know from the starring role in The Roy Orbison Story. He appears regularly as a solo artist with an acoustic repertoire that includes songs from all the above as well as original material. He's a fabulous musician and we think it'll make for a great evening at the Speakeasy.
We're also very excited to have Naomi and Dominic Bullock presenting a preview of their stage show Sweet Sixteen 1914: My Grandmother's Diaries. They've devised the preview specially for the Speakeasy.
Entrance is £7.50 on the door and you can bring your own drinks and nibbles. Doors open at 8pm.
