Modern technology can be used in amazing and innovative ways to support people with disabilities, bringing them opportunities never possible in the past. We are proud that Special Effect is based in our own neighbourhood, Cornbury Park, and at this meeting a representative will tell us about the remarkable work that they do and will show us short videos of the people whose lives they've changed for the better.
Special Effect is a charity which neither charges for their work nor sells equipment. They find solutions to problems that raise the quality of life for individual needs. Visitors and members are very welcome to this positive and uplifting presentation.
If you've not been before, then please come along and try Charlbury WI. We have a really good programme for 2015 (see Community/Social page for full details), a growing membership (of all ages) and always have delicious home-made cake at meetings!
