Wed 18 Feb 2015: Charlbury WI February meeting - Craft Workshop (patchwork lavender bags)

Our February meeting is a hands-on craft session where we'll be aspiring to make a patchwork lavender bag in an evening! Using pretty material offcuts, we'll be hand sewing bags of simple patchwork design, embellishing with buttons and ribbons, and filling them with home-grown lavender. No sewing skills required, just meant to be creative & fun. Take home to hang in your wardrobe or give as a present with the personal touch. Small donation required towards costs. Please bring along sewing scissors and any fabric or decorative pieces you would like to incorporate into your design.
If you've not been before, then please come along and try Charlbury WI. We have a really good programme for 2015 (see Community/Social page for full details), a growing membership (of all ages) and always have delicious home-made cake at meetings!
