What’s on

Mon 27 Oct-Fri 31 Oct 2014: Get the kids outdoors this autumn!

This event is in the past.

Fancy a family day out with a difference? Then why not head down to the wild woods with Little Wild Things, a Charlbury based organisation that is all about outdoor nature play for children. Run in a very special patch of local woodland, by kind permission of the Ditchley estate, Little Wild Things runs exciting school holiday adventures for all the family.

Join them in the deep dark wood this half term for a wild pirate adventure or some spooky Halloween fun!

On Monday 27th October kids will be challenged to find all the buried treasure, navigate the shark infested swamp and make their own pirate sword! On Tuesday 28th and Friday 31st October, children can clamber through a giant spiders web, paint with slime and discover the bones in an owl pellet, plus make their very own willow wand to take home…….wild fun not to be missed!

Alongside the activities, visitors to the woods can enjoy the tree swing, the mud kitchen and the tiny tepees, plus all the fantastic things that woodlands were made for like hide and seek, bug hunting and tree climbing.

There's also the chance to bring along a picnic to enjoy in the woods and there are always cold drinks, tea, biscuits and delicious homemade cake included in the price, so why not come out to play!
