Sun 7 Sep 2014: Wychwood Forest Fair at Cornbury Park

This event is in the past.

11am-5pm. The Wychwood Forest Fair, is a major fundraising event to support the local wildlife and landscape conservation work of the Wychwood Project. A wide range of rural crafts are on display - some of which allow you to 'have a go'.

Typical activities at the Fair each year include displays by the Wychwood Project, the local Wildlife Trust, the Wychwood Pond group, and many other local conservation and community groups. As well as an arts and crafts tent, there is a children's Fun Fair, a Green Man children's story teller, and both Charlbury Morris and Wychwayz Border Morris dancing sides. There are plenty of local food suppliers and farm produce, lots of refreshments, locally produced ice cream and - last but not least - a beer tent selling beer from the local Wychwood Brewery, based in Witney. This year, the fair returns to Cornbury Park near Charlbury and Finstock and next year will move on to another parish within the Wychwood Project area.

Entry £7.00, under 16's free.
