Fri 24 May-Sat 25 May 2013: Finstock Village Music

This event is in the past.

Finstock Village Music is an attempt to bring back a flavour of the music and activity that Wychwood villagers would have enjoyed during the nineteenth century. There will be music from Fiddles and the Pipe and Tabor, as well as workshops, talks, songs, morris dancing and storytelling. We also plan to recreate the Finstock Bowery on the village green. This was last built in the village around 150 years ago and will be used by peripatetic musicians on the day!
