Woolly Hugs

Welcome to Charlbury Woolly Hugs!

We are knitting and crocheting things for refugees: hats, scarves, gloves, children's jumpers, and most of all:

6-inch and 12-inch acrylic double-knit squares

We have collection boxes in the book room upstairs at the Corner House, and next to the information table in St. Mary's (be careful not to mix it up with St. Mary's lost property box, which is next to it!)

Acrylic double-knit yarn in any colour is also useful, for joining squares.

If you would like to have a ball of donated yarn to make some squares, please contact Meraud on MeraudFH@gmail.com or 01608 810151.

Do get in touch if you have any questions, or you would like me to come to your house and collect the things you have made.

It would also be useful to know if anyone would be happy to teach people to knit or crochet the squares.

Thank you!
