Street Fair

Charlbury Street Fair is held in September and has taken place every year since the early 1950's.

The main purpose of Street Fair and Open Gardens is to raise money for the upkeep of the Corner House and the War Memorial Hall - two community buildings that play such an important part in the lives of so many people in and around Charlbury.

In 2026, Street Fair weekend will start on Friday 18 September with the annual Egg Throwing Competition, Street Fair itself will be held on Saturday 19th. Kicking off 1.30pm on the playing close with the Children's fancy dress Parade. The celebrations continue throughout the afternoon and evening, finishing at 10:00pm after the final band.
