I want to build four raised beds for growing flowers and vegetables, about 2x1 metres each. Railway sleepers are expensive and hard to get. Does anyone know a source of suitable material?

My daughter has recently broken her leg (femur) and is being delivered back from Austria shortly.
Apparently, gentle use of an exercise bike is recommended.
Does any kind person have one currently not being used to borrow for the short term?
Thank you

I have recently moved to Charlbury and now need to find somewhere to keep my horse (I am moving her to the area next Tuesday 9th March).
I was wondering if anyone can suggest somewhere that I could keep her please? She doesn't need to be stabled, so just needs grazing, ideally with another horse (she's a friendly TB).
Ideas welcome please - perhaps a PC family who may want a companion/extra pair of hands (me!) at weekends with animals, a farmer, someone from the hunt etc etc. Ideally fairly close to Charlbury but I cannot be too fussy!

Not sure where else to put this since the forum closed, but there is a pink child's bike with a basket on the front on the waste ground opposite the Spendlove Centre. It's been there most of the week, so I assume it has been pinched and dumped there. If your child is missing a bike, then there it is!

I have an old fish tank that has been converted to keep pet rats in.
Suitable for gerbils, rats or degus or could be converted back to a fish tank but would need to check the seals are still watertight.
Its about 3ft x 1.5 ft x 1ft and has a large holed mesh grill for the lid.
Also have an exercise trampoline.
Both will go to the tip unless someone would like to take them off my hands.

Wooden and metal folding booster seat. Length of the red metal/wooden sides is adjustable so that it can fit on top most dining chairs. There is a strap which then secures it to the seat. Ideal for travel, and for little people who think they are big people and refuse to sit in highchairs! I used it a lot (or rather my son did) at home at the dining table. Wooden seat part folds flat. With original instruction booklet. £25 01608 810105

Maxi Cosi Priory Car seat suitable for child approx 9mth to 4 years. Was rated safest seat in its class by Which Magazine when I bought it. Never been in a crash or dropped. Uses standard 3-point seat belt to secure. Several reclining positions, removable washable cover, original instruction booklet with 'how to install seat in car' DVD included. The fabric cover has some fading and a little wear, but still lots of life left in it. Also separately-bought extra buckle (shown in pic) used to stop toddlers getting their arms out of the straps (mine did constantly before I got this no matter how tight the straps!), but this can be removed. £25.
